Meet Mendel, the CAIROS assistant for Czech legal, finance, and real estate workflows that need answers with visible sources.
We are introducing Mendel, our first product and the system we have been building CAIROS toward: a verified information assistant for Czech law, finance, and real estate.
Why we built it
Mendel gives you accurate, sourced answers to the questions that have always required either a professional or an afternoon of reading documents written for someone else. Ask it whether a landlord’s notice is legally valid, what your self-employment obligations look like under current Czech tax law. It gives you an answer that traces to a real source, tells you when it is uncertain, and stops rather than invents when it reaches the edge of what it can verify.
Where Mendel is different from a general assistant is in what it refuses to do. It will not give you a confident answer it cannot support. Every response surfaces its reasoning and its sources, so you can follow the logic and judge it for yourself. In legal and financial contexts, that transparency is not a secondary feature. It is the condition under which the product earns trust at all.
Mendel is currently in development. We expect to bring it to users in the spring and summer of 2027, starting with the Czech market. We will share more about access, pricing, and the specific capabilities available at launch as that date approaches.
We are proud to be building this. The team has put serious work into getting the architecture right before putting it in front of users, and we think that patience will be apparent in the product. More to come.
